EXPERIENCE

Scott Duncan & Associates, 1994-1998 and 2005- present

Providing marketing and business development consulting and services for technology-based learning projects.

 Developed and managed aspects of an online technology training program for George Brown College, Toronto, Canada. Developed a web-based online student support centre, administration system, and CRM system. Provided sales management and marketing management for student recruitment call center, including sales rep hiring and training. Developed strategic partnerships with partnering US colleges. Managed print, direct mail, website optimization and pay-per-click marketing programs.
 Acted as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Logic Design Inc., an educational software company providing simulation software for electronics education and technical training.
 Developed business plans, marketed and signed a commercial publisher for “Orchestrating Multimedia”, a CD-ROM/book package which introduced educators to the process of developing multimedia resources for teaching and learning.
 Series editor on the "Lifelong Learning on the Information Highways Series", an eight book print and media based resource on using new technologies in distance education.
 Acted as Director of Marketing and Communications for The Knowledge Connection Corporation, a public sector not-for-profit organization created to encourage and stimulate the use of new media in the education and training sectors in Ontario through industry partnership and collaborative projects.
 Project manager for an Ontario Ministry of Education pilot project to deliver effective literacy training over the web.
 Produced and marketed a quarterly newsletter called the Learning Industry New Media Report.

Was responsible for defining and executing worldwide sales and marketing strategy for education and training markets for Electronics Workbench, electronic circuit design and simulation software and related electronics design automation products.
