About Us Scott Duncan's resume includes over twenty-five years of direct experience in sales, marketing, product and business development of educational technology and training products. Early in his career, Scott worked his way through positions of increasing responsibility in the educational publishing industry including sales rep, sales manager, marketing manager, editor, and editorial director, culminating with the role of publisher at a large multinational educational publishing company based in Toronto, Canada. During this period Scott produced, marketed and sold a variety of educational resources including textbooks and their ancillary packages, which included a wide range of audio, video, and related software products. In the last 10 years Scott has worked in a number of full-time and consulting roles, focused primarily on the development, marketing and sales of educational media and software-based products. As the director of marketing and communications at a public sector organization set up to encourage and stimulate the use of new media in education and training, Scott focused on bringing new products, new companies, and new technology to market in the emerging new media education and training sector through industry partnerships and collaborative projects. As the director of educational marketing at a leading educational simulation software company, Scott focused on direct marketing, sales development, and branding to propel a market leading family of products to growth in their mature marketplace. As a independent consultant Scott has worked in educational product development and project management for private companies, large and small, as well as for educational institutions at the board, ministry, and federal government level. Our associates are introduced into SDA projects as determined by project requirements and time-lines. Our associates include, Dr. Anthony Luengo, PhD: Tony specializes in product research, development and management for K-12 and Higher Education projects. Tony has over 25 years of experience working inside, and as a consultant to, multinational educational publishers. He is the author of the Canadian Writer's Companion and teaches publishing and writing courses at Ryerson University and the University of Toronto. Cam Scholey: Cam is a principal of Advanced Management Initiatives Inc. He is an MBA, CMA consultant who specializes in business strategy formulation and business planning. He has been a speaker and consultant for the past 10 years and is also currently a faculty member at the University of Waterloo where he has been heavily involved in designing and teaching in their new Masters of Business Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program. Joseph Milzarski: Joseph is a principal of JDS Design, a marketing communications service bureau that specializes in building creative solutions that sell. Joseph has produced award winning marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies for over 20 years, including clients like McDonalds, Hewlett Packard, and Adobe.
